EnviroLumiere was founded by the board of the Andorran financial services company Soleira S.A. in 2003 as a proactive sister company to its CarbonCredEx carbon trading platform and its Australian based electronics and communications R&D company, Consolidated Communications.

Building on their reputation for creating ground breaking advances in technology such as its S.W.A.M.P. compression technology for high speed communications and the knowledge base of its founders in the field of environmental auditing and sustainability, EnviroLumiere worked towards creating a range of high efficiency lighting products based around new and advancing technologies, such as LED and other Solid State Lighting formats.

In early 2008 EnviroLumiere released its first LED Downlight specifically targeted at the traditional 50watt diachroic halogen products used throughout domestic and commercial installations. This product was known as the DL2000. A 20watt COB LED based downlight with an output at 60deg equivilent to a 50watt Halogen. Later in 2008 we produced the DL1500 based around a 15watt COB LED and then the EL1000 10watt downlight at the end of 2008.

EnviroLumiere has now improved on this product with the release of its X-Series downlights, providing a more efficient fixture both in operating current and temperature to most led fixtures in the marketplace today.

The 3rd Generation of X Series downlights provides an equivilant lux output to a 50watt halogen at a very low 15 circuit watts and provides a very accurate colour temperature equivilant and colour rendering index at the same time. Couple this with our 26watt DX downlights which top off the X Series Range and the newly released CTA and RGB DMX versions EnviroLumiere has created one downlight with thousands of possibilities.

With the 5th Generation of the R-Series in the final development stages and due for release in the second quarter 2011, the 4th Generation of X-Series downlights predicted for first quarter 2011 and the 3rd Generation of our V-Series Hybrid mid 2011, we will further improve on the efficiency of this series and provide efficient highly cost competitive fixtures for the future of our partners and customers.
